Our architecturally stunning villas are designed for family vacations
When you walk in the front door of your villa, you see the azure blue waters of the Caribbean sea off in the distance while in your immediate vicinity is all of the creature comforts of home. Our villas feature a full kitchen, spacious living room, dining room, a deck so large that many of our guests consider it their second living room, and your family's own personal plunge pool. Mom and dad, your ensuite bedroom is upstairs with its own balcony while the kids have their bedroom downstairs. It's this unique split-level floor plan that allows the adults their privacy, the children their freedom and enough living space to welcome the whole family for dinner.
Your villa. Our chefs. The perfect, private combination.
At Windjammer Landing we have five restaurants to delight your senses. There's the casual and fun Embers for a quick pizza on the beach. Jammer's is the heart of Windjammer Landing and host of our Tuesday night Caribbean dancers. (Make sure to limber up if you plan on proving your mettle in the weekly dance contest!) Upper Deck has sumptuous steaks, fresh seafood and some of the best views of Castries. Whereas the stately Dragonfly hosts our infamous theme buffets and breakfast brunch overlooking the beach. But the one restaurant that stands above all others at Windjammer Landing is Papa Don's. It's high up on the hill and named after our legendary founder and every night the Papa Don chefs turn out some of the best Mediterranean dishes this side of Marseilles.
And if you're looking to have an intimate dinner at your villa, or maybe a simple (or grand) celebration then let our culinary staff handle the details for you. It's your holiday, why are you doing the dishes?
Let's go! The Pitons! Ziplining! The spaaaaaaaaahhhh!
St Lucia is home of the legendary Pitons, a drive through volcano and incredible scuba diving. Which we're sure your family would love to explore. And while they are hiking to the mountain top or sailing around the tip of the island, maybe it's time that you had a bit of fun yourself -at the spa. And for the wee ones who are a bit too small for the big kid fun, our Kid's Club would be delighted to host them for a day of play.
Your Villa Experience Awaits
This winter two adults and two children can stay in one of our 2 bedroom villas with our premium all inclusive meal plan (yes, all of those five restaurants are included) for $4,589 for four nights or $7,889 for seven nights.
If you’re ready for a slightly different holiday experience, one where relaxation and family togetherness is the focal point of all that happens, maybe it’s time for a Villa Experience at Windjammer Landing.
Twenty years ago, we were in need of a wedding photographer. A young man stepped in to shoot the wedding as he was a) unemployed and b) pursued photography at university . The bride loved the photos. And the young man? Well, he's now known as one of St. Lucia's most famous faces.
This is Kirk Elliot's recent blog his ideal Tour of the Pitons.
No trip to St Lucia is complete without a visit to The Pitons. These twin peaks that loom out of the sea like the bosom of a Greek Goddess can leave you as stunned as if they were…
The Pitons are in Soufriere which is often referred to as the visitor capital of Saint Lucia. In fact this is the same Soufriere that is home to the Volcano Mud Baths that we visited yesterday…
However why jump on a St Lucia Party Cruise with one of the many catamarans that will take you to Soufriere by sea and experience the St Lucia’s majestic Pitons from the ocean-side approach…
The view is stunningly breathtaking, especially wheny you come round that last outcrop of land before entering the Soufriere Bay and then suddenly there they are looming before you – Twin peaks of sheer beauty
And should you get to see the Pitons by land instead of by sea, one of my favourite, and less frequented views is from the restaurant at La Haut, a small property about 2 miles above the Soufriere town
However any which way you view them the Pitons are quite simply awe inspiring!
Be sure to take lots of pictures…
