Antigen Testing

The new CDC guidelines require that all passengers arriving to the US from any foreign country get tested no more than 3 days before their flight departs. Arriving passengers must provide proof of the negative test result to the airline before boarding the flight. This order will go into effect commencing on January 26th, 2021.

For entry into England, PCR, LAMP, or antigen tests are accepted providing they meet the UK government’s stated standards. For more information on this please visit: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-testing-for-people-travelling-to-england

Windjammer Landing is delighted to offer complimentary antigen testing to any guests staying at the resort for a minimum of 5 nights. This test is done onsite and results are provided within 24 hours and an electronic copy of your results will be provided. For guests staying between 1 – 4 nights, we can provide the rapid antigen test at $50 USD per person.

Windjammer Landing’s Care + Cleanliness Commitment

For over 30 years we have always dedicated ourselves to providing the best and safest experience at Windjammer Landing. As a leader in St. Lucia within the luxury hotel market, we already have the strictest quality controls and health and safety measures to guarantee our guests' and teams' health. Windjammer Landing’s Care + Cleanliness Commitment goes beyond these stringent quality controls throughout the entire resort including public areas, our restaurants, bars, guest rooms, activities, the fitness center, the spa, and all behind-the-scenes operations. This multilayered commitment will build on Windjammer’s existing rigorous protocols and follows the advice and instruction provided by the Centers for Diseases Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and the St. Lucia Minister of Health. This comprehensive approach will include an accreditation process by the Government of St. Lucia, intensive colleague training, and a team of the country’s medical experts and industry professionals that will contribute to the hotel experience to protect every guest and every team member.

Our newly appointed Health and Safety Officers within each department will ensure strict adherence and seamless implementation of the standards and procedures outlined with our Care + Cleanliness Commitment. As always, Windjammer is equipped with a full-service medical station which is staffed 24/7 by a registered nurse and on-call doctor. As required by the Government of St. Lucia, this facility has been upgraded to include supplies needed to address COVID-19 protocols.

We are working hard to prepare the resort to welcome guests back to the natural beauty of St. Lucia and the warmth of Windjammer Landing.  For more detailed information on Windjammer Landing’s Care + Cleanliness Commitment please click here.

In the Community

While all travel has been put on pause and we have not been able to serve our guests, the Windjammer Landing team has come together to continue to serve our communities with the National Meals Program (NMP). NMP is part of the Government of St. Lucia’s Social Stabilization Program launched in response to the negative social-economic impact of Covid-19 on the citizens of St. Lucia. Together with the other members of the St. Lucia Hotel and Tourism Association, the Ministry of Agriculture, the National Emergency Management Organization, and other private sector associations we have all helped to prepare and deliver over 20,000 meals to those less fortunate in our beautiful country.

This is an ongoing Government program that Windjammer Landing is proud to be a part of.
